Use this endpoint to submit a Lua or Luau script for a build. You need an API key from the dashboard.
Keep your API key private
Send requests from your own server or trusted command line. Never include a private key in browser code, a public repository, or a script distributed to users.
Endpoint
POST https://obfuscation.lol/api/obfuscate
Content-Type: application/json
Authorization: <your API key>

Example: send a build request
Set LOT_API_KEY in your shell first. The response is written to obfuscated.luau.
curl -sS -X POST "https://obfuscation.lol/api/obfuscate" \
-H "Authorization: ${LOT_API_KEY}" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"source": "print(\"Hello from LOT\")",
"node": "v4.8",
"preset": "luau",
"mutations": "normal",
"cff": "normal",
"if_bindings": "off",
"add_debug_lib": false,
"add_coroutine_lib": false,
"rubis": false
}' -o obfuscated.luau
Example: send a source file
With jq, read the file as a string and use the same endpoint:
jq -Rs '{
source: .,
node: "v4.8",
preset: "luau",
mutations: "normal",
cff: "normal",
if_bindings: "off"
}' input.luau | curl -sS -X POST "https://obfuscation.lol/api/obfuscate" \
-H "Authorization: ${LOT_API_KEY}" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
--data-binary @- -o obfuscated.luau
